I hate that every year people turn this competition into whining rather than winning. |

There are times when we talk as friends and joke around about things like this, but then the most important times are when he says "I'm telling you this as a mentor," no matter what it is, those moments mean a lot. |

I'm so conflicted right now. On one hand, you made the same page as a celebrity. On the other hand.... Justin Bieber. |

...regardless of anything that happens, there should be no booing at competitions, only cheers. True, many of us want to win, but in the end, all of us are working to expand FIRST and to promote the inspiration and recognition of science and technology through gracious professionalism. |

I personally think any student should be allowed to participate, as long as he/she is helpful and active. FIRST, to me, is about inspiration, not elitism. |

FIRST is inspiration. No matter how you do it, you learn something. Stop being silly. Stop making accusations. Go build robots. Now. |

[on the 2007 field control software] its crazy -- not only did they sound like the same old sound effects we know and love, but it seemed like they actually occured at the time they were supposed to! :) |

It doesn't matter what goes wrong as long as you have fun. We all thought this was one of our best trips, even though we were second to last in our divison. |

In the end the important thing is that the rookie members who make up the majority of our team were inspired and will try much harder next year. :) |

The object of the team is not to design, build and compete a robot, it is to design, build and compete students. If after four years we have opened a student's eyes to the infinite possibilities they have in their life, it is worth all the effort. |
