Didn't you know? Kids today are born with GPS tracking systems installed so Mom's can look them up on Google Earth wherever they are and also know what they're doing for a living, eating the right foods and if they're dating the appropriate people. |

Regardless of the next course of action, getting steamed and angry will benefit nobody. And coming from me, that has to mean something. |

In any case, don't beat yourself up over it. Only 24 teams get to play in elimination rounds. Sometimes you're in the 24, and sometimes you aren't. |

At least try to make sure other teams are aware of you. Don't be obnoxious, but don't be a wall flower either. |

unless your team is incredibly beastly, completely ignore the words "cool factor". Coolness does not outweigh functionality. |

I think the GDC should force us to use steam engines, but the electrically-inclined folks on my team might stop whining if they're given more to work with. |

Well, air conditioners when pointed inside the house make it cooler. So I figure if EVERYONE turns their air conditioners on full blast and just point them out the window, we should more or less get rid of this "warming" nonsense. |

I'm 5'5", and I'm our team's drive coach. Our drivers are nearly always taller than me. In my case, it's not the driver's station that needs to be made of lexan...it's our drivers. |

In real life, I use almost nothing I learned from football except that with a bit of hard work you can get somewhere. Oh, and I have bad knees on top of that. I could have (and wished I would have) learned that from a FIRST FRC team instead. |
