Just think of the deadline as your six week deadline for FIRST, just when you think you can't do it, you are amazed by what you can do. |

I'd say it is somewhat addicting. But I think that is a good thing. It proves that knowledge can be addicting. How cool is that? Now, if we could just get everyone addicted to knowledge, just think of what we can accomplish.:D |

I want my students to learn passion. I want them to care so much about what they are doing that they infect other people with it... be that FRC or anything else. |

I never wanted to be a teacher.
This was the year I learned that I am one. It turns out mentors are teachers. Oops. |

It is crucial to keep experience and keeping collected under pressure as high points that can't be measured in a test. |

Just remember, FIRST isn't about the robot, just have fun, meet new people, and try to learn something new. Killing yourself with inhumane amounts of pressure just isn't fun for anyone.

I'm sure you can come up with something, with a bit of warped thought!

There can never be enough recognition of a job well done. We can never say enough Thank You's. We can never measure the impact that an inspirational teacher or mentor can make on a student because it's priceless. |

I think that everyone should just take a step back and look at the whole picture, FIRST is a family, not an organization full of regions, we all try to help each other, not 'cause it benefits us, but because it's graciously proffesional. |

We can't turn off inspiration and recognition, development and learning with a switch. It is an on-going process. If it were not, there would be no need for CD except for 6 weeks out of the year.

You shouldn't have to apologize at all for wanting to have fun. This is supposed to be fun. You shouldn't gauge your level of enjoyment at the event based on your place in the standings. |
