Our team took a Chatsworth fundraising class by Wendy Wooten and got inspired. We edited a sample Chatsworth letter to suit our purposes. A sponsor printed 1000 copies ea of the black and white attachments we needed. Another sponsor donated the paper for our school's ROTC to print the 1000 copies ea of the colored attachments we needed. As Chatsworth does, the pkts are not snail mailed to save on postage, and include a business size envelope with our address, but no stamp. The district paper supplier gave us 1000 large envelopes, 1000 business size envelopes. Each student is going to approach 10 sponsors for at least $100 ea, and must show proof of having approached them. The kids already have made progress before even having received the packets - parents are getting their companies to sponsor and kids have a list of people in mind to approach.
