Sponsors, FIRST Staff, Mentors, and Students Describe the Power of the Program
Notice to the FIRST Robotics Community:
Please utilize this collection of stories to help aid in your efforts to strengthen or begin FIRST Robotics team(s) in the US and abroad. This document is not intended to give a comprehensive overview of FRC, but rather its purpose is to provide a multitude of perspectives on the power and importance of the program. These stories are just a few of the thousands of success stories found throughout the FIRST community. The first-person accounts contained herein have been graciously submitted and approved for widespread distribution by each of the project participants as they appear here. You may duplicate this package and distribute it as you see fit, but you may not alter this document in any way. We also encourage you to collect more first-person accounts from your region, gain distribution approvals, and use them in a similar fashion. All questions and requests should be directed to Rich Kressly at kresslr@lmsd.org .

I want to thank every single participent in that project. Dave's comment was just amazing (i read that over and over a few times), Andy baker, JVN, DJ, and Rich's comments made me think how FIRST is changing other's lives. That testimonials has been put together very nicely and great comments form mentors in FIRST. A rookie who read this will be inspired right away. Thanks for taking your valuable time out of your schedule and put this together...

I haven't posted on CD for a long time, but I just wanted to second DJ's sentiments and thank Kres for putting in the time to create this project and for giving me the honor of writing for it.
I hope everyone takes a look at this and uses it, its a great piece of work, and I was amazed by everyone elses stories.

FYI everyone.
As many have requested, the testimonials have been updated (thanks for uploading, Brandon) with the new FIRST Logo and a few other updates/corrections were necessary as well. Enjoy and PLEASE continue to distribute this package and compile "local" packages for your region. All feedback that I have received tells me this does make a difference. I'm currently working on more local versions for our two PA Regional areas.
(Note: I left the old logo on Steve Chism's letter because that was the letterhead he used at the time of submitting. This is not a mistake )
