Building a Basic Crate 2.0
This update to last year's tutorial on how to build a crate includes revisions to meet the new guidelines provided by FIRST and includes photos to make the tutorial much easier to follow.
Each team needs to build a crate to ship their robot. This crate was designed to be simple, inexpensive and toolless once constructed. Teams and assemble and disassemble this crate with their hands!
The revisions include an update in the assembly process to fix a potential load problem; thicker plywood sides to meet FIRST's new guidelines; and photos to make it easier for you to understand how it all goes together.
