Tips and suggestions for beginners in Autodesk Inventor, focusing on good modeling practices.

This is a two-page document with suggestions for beginning Inventor users. It focuses on good modeling practices, such as constraining sketches to the part origin. We're handing it out to our CAD team and CAD classes at Lower Merion HS.

The first page directs users to change preferences in the software. At LMHS, the computers reset all preferences when the uses log off, and users must change the preferences again every time they start a new Inventor session--hence the heading "When starting your session..." on the first page. Feel free to change it if something else makes sense for your team.
