This is a pdf drawing of the layout for the 2009 IRI, including the field and the pits. There are many changes.

Changes for 2009:
- Main gym: both sides of the field will be viewed from bleachers
- Main gym: robots enter from east and exit to east
- West hallway: Host and assisting teams have their pits here, instead of in the main gym. (The West hallway is brand new, and has been under construction for the past 2 years)
- West hallway: Last year's winners also get their pits with the host and assisting teams
- Field house: All other teams have pits located on the West end of the field house. For the past few years, all pits have been at the East end.
- Field house: Practice field and early career challenge teams will be toward the West end
- Field house: Pit admin will be near the East entrance
- Robot traffic: robots only go from Field house to Gym along the West hallways
- Cafeteria and Foyer area: This is now pedestrian only, with a Tech Expo in the Foyer area.

See everyone soon!

I only see one pit for your team. Mind sharing where you found the second one?

No wonder I couldn't find 45's pit. I didn't see the second pit area. Oops.

I noticed that 2970, 1675, 1714, and 1732 are all right in the same section, on the north end. Right by the practice field! Cool.

I hereby dedicate that corner the Fun Corner.

I found it amusing that 1625 and 1675 were directly across from each other.

I also find it amusing that us cheeseheads are directly across from the Cows. I mean... doesn't that just make sense?

I know 68 has 2 pits listed and that might change things but I really like the pits as is so I hope they just bump 135 down there or something.

Hey, if Truck Town wants to be out in the hallway with the host teams, we'll gladly absorb some of the vacated pit space. But this would come at a cost, as it would deny us the opportunity to observe their formidable robot up close all weekend.

is there going to be a table in each pit or should we bring our own?

There will be tables in each pit. There is no need to bring your own.

Haha I found this funny while looking at the times.

Thursday you load your robot and bring in your stuff.... but at the same time... there's competition matches. I assume that's Friday July 31st, but i still found that funny.

Since you're making fixes, the times displayed in the cafeteria and the auditorium are wrong.

Feel free to shift everyone over when you remove 68's 2nd pit, and give 148 a corner... thanks!

With the addition of the West Hallway, that really, really cleaned up traffic flow. Awesome work Andy and Chris F. You guys are really good with the whole traffic flow thing... *cough*, Indy... *cough*...

ahhhh this is the most i have seen anyone talk about us before on Chief Delphi

and i Designate our pit row "Chaos Row" 45, 47, 48, 67, 68, 111, 217, 234, 330, 461, and 1024 all in one spot!?

i think we should set up some skirmishes for fun... but we have no field... or balls... and we aren't allowed to use radios...

and some fun addition on the number of wins

45=30, 47=24, 48=24, 67=79, 68=48, 111=38, 217=70, 234=34, 330=18, 461=20, and 1024=23

totaling out to 408 wins for 11 teams XD

I know this traffic flow could look very similar at a much larger arena in downtown Indy, in say April?
