Go to Post Hall of Fame FIRST Team 254 has arguably helped more teams become good than any other team in FIRST. I don't think they need a lecture on helping their opponents. - Karthik [more]

Paper scouting sheet to be used with Team 254's Cheesy Scout system.

This is a paper sheet I have developed to collect data to be entered into Team 254's Cheesy Scout system for Logomotion.

Cheesy Scout: http://scout.team254.com/
CD thread: http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/showthread.php?t=92854

This allows a team to have flexibility on the number of internet connected devices in use with the system. You can collect some or all of the data on paper, then enter the data into the system using one or more internet connected devices.

Corrections/Ideas/Improvements are welcome!

So, the first thing I did upon opening this one-page data gathering sheet was make it two pages, four sections. This means I can print it double-sided.

I'm totally going to give this a shot at regional we are going to watch tomorrow (week 4) since we are competing week 5.

I was half way through making a sheet when you posted this and yours looks a lot better than mine did.

I think the only major difference was I calling "avg time from pick up" "mean time to score."

In either case I'm going to be giving copies to freshmen, I'll let you know how that works out

Note that some of the items in the CheesyScout system have changed or been eliminated since this form was first made.

I'm more concerned with students ability to accurately fill out a paper scouting form than anything and your form covered the major things I want to start training them to look for.

I'm considering this like scouting 101, what is important and whats not so next week I don't have babysit them as much.
