Excel spreadsheet showing the 2011 RCA winning teams.
Congrats to all the 2011 Regional Chairman's Winners.
I've created a spreadsheet showing the winning teams, regionals they won at, and the number of times they have won. I highlighted the teams with 5 or more wins. I think that these will be the teams to watch for to win The Chairman's Award.
I am still a little confused on the Michigan thing, so I counted all wins.
I also created a column that has all the teams in numerical order. I know in the past, this was used as the presentation order at Championships. I've heard that there will be 3 sets of judges, and that the presentations will be on Thursday.
There were also 26 1st time winners. It will be a really good mix of teams going to St. Louis.
Good luck to teams presenting.

Chris FultzI believe the three teams that won the State Championship Chairman's Award qualify to present at the Championship. Those teams are -

Yep, sorry I miscounted somewhere. Sometimes its confusing to read the info on the FIRST data base. Probably not the only mistake.

Seattle Cascade: 360 (their 2nd RCA) <<-- missing from spreadsheet
Seattle Olympic: 1899 (their 1st RCA)
Thanks!

Debbie
Thanks for that file. As a first timer, we are very new to this and any information is appreciated.
You have the Michigan District winners listed on your ss though. The Michigan District Chairman winners do not compete at worlds. Only the 3 teams that won at the Michigan State Championships will be competing at World's. Technically, we have one district Chairman and one Regional (MSC) Chairman, not 2 Regionals. As previously stated, MIchigan has 3 because we used to have 3 Regionals before going to the district/state model. So at states, all of the district winners in Michigan compete for the 3 spots to go to worlds.
Any other helpful tips or scheduling tips about world's would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!!

Thanks Debbie,
Yes, all the teams listed on the left column won a RCA at an event this year. The teams listed on the right side in numerical order are the teams that are qualified to present in St. Louis. It does not include the District winners in Michigan. Good luck at CMPs! |
