FP gearbox reworked
Our ME redesigned a gearbox using the Fisher-Price gears, but removing the final stage to increase the speed.
We're using these on a ball conveyor and a ball collecting beater bar.
It just made it a more compact package and easier to couple with the output shaft. Removing the last large stage also allowed us to remove one set of inner gears to get the clearances to pack them in closer together.
Air holes for the Fisher-Price motor to breathe are in the face plate.
They need to be greased and covered.
P.S. I was supposed to attach the CAD, but obvously forgot to do so.
I'll have to add that later, because I don't have a current version here. Sorry about that.
