Establishing a High School Varsity Lettering Recognition Program
Your FRC Team can achieve greater school and community recognition by establishing a Varsity Lettering Program in your High School. Here is how FRC Team 1816 set up its program in Edina, MN.
Varsity Lettering can raise the visibility, respect and recognition of students engaged in FIRST Robotics. Varsity letters are earned and awarded to students that go above -and - beyond in Robotics, similar to the procedures followed by high school sports and activities such as debate, mock trial, band and theater. Corporate sponsors also appreciate the higher visibility of teams that are playing and competing at the Varsity level.
