Scouting database made by Aaron Cannon, team 862 for the 2014 season.
Many improvements and changes. Make sure to READ THE INSTRUCTIONS in the database.
I recommend using the paper scouting sheets, the tablet based sheets are still under construction.
Updates:
-The first scouting sheet will work on tablets but can be slow to input on tablets.
-New Scouting Sheet released (3.0). ONLY WORKS ON PC. WILL HOPEFULLY UPDATE SO THAT IT WORKS ON TABLETS. Requires a spreadsheet program that runs macros. For android you can use "AndrOpen Office" which can be found on google play. This new sheet is much more intuitive and easier to use.
-New scouting sheet released for paper scouting (2.0)
-An updated sheet for the tablets will be uploaded in the next few weeks. The current sheet (3.0) doesn't work on tablets but will work on computers.
-New database uploaded (2.0)- faster, simpler, easier
-New database uploaded (4.0)- some bugs fixed, added optional tablet scouting (instructions in input section), some minor changes to set up
-New scouting sheet (4.0) for tablets added

New scouting sheet added- uses buttons for input but requires a program that runs excel vba macros. (for android use "AndrOpen Office")
Soon I will release an updated database that will run much faster than the first one. (less that 5 second calculation time)
Field diagrams were removed temporarily- I hope to add them to the system again in the next update.

I had a lot of volatile functions that at that point I couldn't replace with other functions. They will be removed in the next update. I will continue to improve the system throughout the season.

Updated scouting database posted. It is faster (only half second calculation), and some parts are simplified. I removed the field diagrams for now. There is currently only manual input (still working on the tablet scouting sheet and programming).
