This is the CAD for 2014 off season drive system. The CAD is more or less complete, but will be finalized after kickoff if we decide to use it this season.

This is the CAD design for our 2014 off season drive system. If we decide to use this system this year, we will be correcting a few elements. First, we would fix the orientation of the mecanum wheels in the CAD (we know they are backward). Second, we would add churro standoffs to add more strength to the frame. Third, we would add spacers to the module to keep the pistons centered.

The free speed should be around 14 fps in mecanum mode, 7 fps in traction mode.
The weight should be about 36 lbs when it is assembled with 8 motors.

If you have any questions about it, be sure to ask.
