I'm curious if you could describe any more about the interface between your scouting team and your drive team.

is there a certain subset of the data that you present to the drive team that's more useful for match strategy? Is the data summarized or visualized in any specific ways, or is it just raw statistics? Does the scouting team provide any analysis along with the data?

First off, you should attend our workshop on the subject Oct 23-24 at the Capital City Classic!

The drive team uses the same interface as what we use for our pick lists. We have summary statistics from the data, and we also give them our two pick lists. I think the most useful data is how a team performs on a particular task, e.g., the % of successes in running their auto, or % making the high goal. They use our qualitative rankings as well to choose which team might be best at defense, or identify which team is most likely to play defense. Sometimes the drive team asks orally for more analysis among teams, but that's rare.

I'm going to try to make it up for the event Not sure yet how many of the team I might be able to get to go with me - we're not planning on attending CCC this year.
