The Game Manual and Appendix G - Rules Cheat Sheet have been updated to reflect the changes the GDC has made to the rules outlined in Manual Update 1 attached below. The following updated rules will be effective at the upcoming event this weekend on November 3rd. If anyone has questions, please submit a question on the Official Q&A and the GDC will be happy to answer.
The term “Strength of Schedule” is a concept that tries to determine for each team, that given a specific schedule of partners and opponents, whether it is “lucky” or “unlucky”. Lucky means on the average, your partners are strong, meaning they are predicted to score higher than average and your opponents are weak and will likely not score very high.
This book is intended to introduce FRC students to the broader field of control theory. The end goal is teaching students enough such that they can make informed decisions regarding control system design trade-offs.
