Team 1241's handbook for the 2004 - 2005 season. This is a .PDF file and contains information about our team including our history, awards, organization, structure, corporate sponsor and more.
I have noticed at least a couple of threads lately on how to make sure your arm structure can take it. This is a spreadsheet I developed for my own use that provides a quick estimate of what options are readily available.
If somebody wants to continue expanding the data base I won't object, but...
Attached is a spreadsheet listing ALL of the teams for the 2005 season that were officially listed on the usfirst web site as of yesterday (20-Jan) as being registered at one of the regionals.
We developed this as a way to determine if any other teams from our area are going to the same regionals...
The Taigene motor is made by Taigene and Taigene donated them to the FIRST kit, but, the motor is USED in a Power Sliding Door application by Delphi (for Ford or GM or one of our other PSD customers, I don't know which).
In any case, we (Delphi) created the spec. But... ...we were not really co...

We developed these steering modes in 2003 and 2004.
This is a tool I use to get my chain adjuster travels right and to give my "gut" a chance to "see" the chain path before I commit to it in metal (I like to judge the amount of chain wrap around a sprocket visually).
It is not a perfect tool. It does not have any way to en...
This was posted on a technical discussion thread a while ago, but I don't know how many people saw it. We had busted a 120A Bussman circuit breaker and wanted to know both how it broke and how it worked. this is our results
