After watching BAE we noticed something...scouting is not that easy this year. There is A LOT going on. So we have simplified the scouting sheet to what we think drivers will need to know without having to interpret notes from people.
Our scouting system:2 or 3 people will be assigned to 5 teams...
This is the form that we will be using in standard Friday and Saturday matches. There is enough space for general info at the top and then there is room to write down info right on the sketched field. Note that if you are sitting on the other side of the field then Red and Blue should be flipped, so...
Here is the form that Paragon will be using on Thursdays when gathering general information about robots. Feel free to use it and let us know if there are any suggestions for other data to gather.
Here's our 2006 match scouting form.
Again, it's fairly simple. It's broken down by period. Circle the role that the robot played and write down a quick number or two.
Again, feedback is good.
Feel free to use the form for your own scouting needs. If you make any changes, please credit us.
