DrJoes Rank Calc 2005-03-17c

Fixed a problem with the Morrella Vs Update15 check boxes (I had them reversed)

Also, added the option to make the 3rd critiria for sorting being Highest MATCH score not Highest QP score.

To be honest, I don't know what FIRST wants or intended on this one.

2005--3-17b Rev of Dr. Joe's Rank Calc

Fixed a bug cought by Kevin. Thanks.

Also, I READ UPDATE15.

You can now choose the Morrella Method (Winner gets lesser of Looser's unpenalized score and winner's penalized score) and the Update15 Method (Winner gets Lowest Unpenalized Score)

Again, PLEASE FIND ERRORS.

The last upd...

New Improved (fixed) Ranking/Scoring

Joe Ross and others found errors/corrections.

I implemented most of them.

This sheet limits the QP points that a team gets to their OWN QP points if a penalty caused the other team to loose -- per Morrella via a phone call, winning alliance gets the LESSER of their opponents unpenalized QP poi...

Please Beat on this and let me know if it breaks.

The "Auto Calc" feature is turned off to keep the data entry from getting too slow.

Structural Estimate Spreadsheet

I have noticed at least a couple of threads lately on how to make sure your arm structure can take it. This is a spreadsheet I developed for my own use that provides a quick estimate of what options are readily available.

If somebody wants to continue expanding the data base I won't object, but...

Triple Play Scoring Spreadsheet v1.3

UPDATED AGAIN!!!!!

Easy to use spreadsheet.

I have included:

1. Stacked and Contained Tetras for each goal
2. 10 pt. bonus for each row (yes, I figured out how to calculate ownership into rows and equal a bonus...)

Template for 2005 Yearbook Questions

I created a Excel spreadsheet template for our team this year to brainstorm and formulate the answers to the questions for the Judge's yearbook. Dr Joe's Chain Path Visualizer

This is a tool I use to get my chain adjuster travels right and to give my "gut" a chance to "see" the chain path before I commit to it in metal (I like to judge the amount of chain wrap around a sprocket visually).

It is not a perfect tool. It does not have any way to en...

Billfred's FLL Score-O-Matic

Well, the other night a fellow CDer asked for some help in making a scoring setup for FLL. This is what I came up with, good for 15 matches (with potential for more, if you work with it). It assumes you know how to navigate between sheets and sort columns.

Match scores go on sheet 2 (ignore the...

Team and State Population Data (as of 10/31/04)

Since Alex469 posted his updated map of the number of teams in each state, I figured the next logical step was to find the distribution over the population of each state.

As the deadline for registration approaches, I'll try to remember to update this.

Team Regional Perfomance at your finger tips...

Hi all,

This falls under the better late than never catagory, but perhaps some folks will be able to us this.

Here's some of the data I gathered throughout the regional season. I have data on every team that competed at every regional event throughout the 2004 season.
