Montana's team #473

Here's our 2003 robot. Fast, agile, and tough.
We can easily stack (or steal) 2 on 2, and pick up boxes in any position.
We have 2-speed drill motors with 4:1 chain drive reduction to each of our four 8"x2" pneumatic tires.
Autonomous programs for fast or slow dead-reckoned ramp climb and stack knock-down, and high-speed reverse under the bar to knock opponents off track.
Our tower articulates with a 2" cylinder, our lift is powered with a globe motor with a 2:1 gear-up to a 1.5"pitch lead-nut, and our 14"arms grab boxes powered by a 1.5" cylinder.
We can lift from 12" to 45", and easily fit under a 13.5" bar.
We're wrapped in poly-carb and ready to play!
Thanks to the Delphi crew for this forum and the help its been- especially to rural teams like ours.
See you in Seattle, and in Houston for our 1st National!

Nice bot, we have an identical drive system, right down to the gear ratios and tires. We have different motor mounts, and shifter designs though. Looks pretty good, good luck this year.
