We finally got down to VCU to try out the ramp down in the mechanical engineering lab, shown here. Wish I had a picture of me riding up the ramp on top of it, or better yet zooming down the other side and crashing into all our gear when the operator pushed the joystick the wrong way! The 2 pneumatic wheels and the two standard-issue polyurethane wheels (sanded down and laterally grooved) provide more than enough traction on the ramp.
