Erinn888Hey look i think i see some pieces from our red light.(anyone who saw it explode got a treat. we have it all on tape too
) Luckily we rebuilt the light so it was still usable. yay.
16-03-2003 21:07
Joe3I think those chain connector links are ours...at least we got the chain our from under there.
16-03-2003 21:09
Morriah836The piece of orange foam in the upper right corner.
It's a piece of a 'Fun Noodle' aka - our bumper!
16-03-2003 21:32
Keith ChesterA lot of those screws are ours from our drill transmissions! The 280 point round we had both drills simply took so much torque they... well, we found them all over the floor. Most of them.

ggoldmanJust FYI...
when we took the ramps apart after the regional..there were even more parts..hehe..

That C-shaped piece of PVC to the immediate left of the rightmost 686 tag is from our robot.
We haven't figured out where it came from, though.
16-03-2003 22:20
Gadget470how did some of that stuff get under there? To my knowledge there is no open-space more than about a square inch (holes in the mesh).

Carlo
hey, that looks like a 5/16-18 nut on the right, HEY THATS MINE!!! lol looks like you get lots of stuff if you clean up.
once again, awesome event, hope to see 2 fields next year, now that would be amazing.
16-03-2003 22:41
RookThat's a funny picture.
Well at least one team, 686, can be traced back to that mess.
16-03-2003 22:46
Erinn888wow you'd think zip ties were popular
...is that some "decorative" duck tape i see? hehe
Yay linganore and their cow tags. So many were given out who really knows what team manage to stash a few under the ramp.

Aaron LussierWow... Just wow, at BAE to my Knowledge all that was under the bridge was zip ties, a few nuts and some square pieces of rubber that came off wheels, namely the black one that came in the kit that had the thin tread down the middle, I recall watching one team trying to drive up the bridge while pushing another bot but all I saw was there wheels being cut apart.
16-03-2003 23:18
rmcclellandThat large PVC nut belongs to team 53. We had our deployable casters down when we were pushed into the ramp. We replaced then the next day. At leat the PVC broke and not our pnuematics!

etolebI bet you could build robot with just those parts... (ok, so maybe you'll need a few electronic components)

sanddragAnyone who wants their robot back from the Phoenix regional just let us know. We'll send it in a jar right away. We caused all your pieces to end up down their so we thought to be nice we'd collect them for you.

To my knowledge, the most major carnage at Phoenix was that robot that almost caught on fire. A couple of light casings chattered too.
Oh, 696, we took home one of the boxes you destroyed as a souvineer.

Gabe: Im not surprised that you found some under the ramp...people were shedding like mad. and everybody else...that doesnt include the pieces that teams picked up!

I don't think we were in a match that we didn't lose at least one nut...and i see many of them there. I think that some of that chian stuff on the left is ours too, and possibly the velcro strips. We didn't get a chance to tighten all our bolts before (or between) competition. Our brake was trailing behind our bot after one match--that was right before we decided that it was useless. But we have refined and rebuilt parts (taking all of sunday after our 10:15 final match), so we should be good for nationals! See you there!
17-03-2003 20:40
w1zk1dthat pvc came from our dropdown casters on the underside of our robot.

hey can we get our chain links back?
how did those tags get on the feild, i didnt see any of them on their bot.
17-03-2003 23:21
SergYes that is our PVC nut, But ryan, isnt that strip of velcro on the top left what held down our resovoirs??? that might explain why malcolms assembly started falling apart..

as a field resetter, you see these things... but all those little black pieces are from team 25's wheels, they had really soft wheels, and bordered on excessive debris, good bot by the way... i was afraid of it at least :-p

Didn't know that about loctite...
and you just proved my team captain wrong and myself right. Thanks much.
And as usual, I begin to digress...

loctite is legal, as long as you use it properly... to keep bolts/nuts in place. also, adhesives such as contact cement were legal last year, and we used a really strong epoxy too...
