This was taken outside of Deka, during a tour of FIRSTers through Deka. I was standing next to Dean's Hummer, waiting for my wife to take a picture... then Dean walks up. It was pretty good timing. The book I have in my left hand was a gift to Dean. The book is about Kokomo's own Elwood Haynes, who is credited (along with Charles Duryea) for inventing the first automobile. Dean is alot like Haynes. They both went to WPI and created inventions to better the lives of humans.
