Coaxial crab

Well there it is The crab drive desing ive worked on, It tought me autocad and was a BIG! Mechanical learning experience for me. build season will be here in three days and its time for me to get working with my team on the new game, whatever it may be. oh yeah tytus if you need anymore help or something i'm always here (here as in "infront of computer"^^)
plus tytus you have to let the people that are trained in AutoCAD do some work^^ (but than again i have no idea on what going on in the mind of your so i guess it's best that if you do it)

How much will it weigh? You can estimate using the mass property query feature of autocad. Multiply the volume of the aluminum parts by .1 (density) and add the motors and other components to that to get a decent estimate of weight.

ok, i added all the aluminum in a single module and i got 2.7 does that mean the aluminum pieces of the module weigh 2.7 pounds lilograms or what?
and wgere can i find all those descity ratios like aliminum=0.1 what is steel? duprine, lexan, Etc...

Tytus, make sure you're putting in .1 (0.0918) lbm/in^3 .
