FIRST Frenzy is going to ROCK, and 991 is going to rock FIRST Frenzy! The complete base, drive system, and mast (not shown) weight 80 lbs. We're on track!

I like the TIG welded frame, nice job. If you're planning on climbing the platform ground clearance may be an issue although I might be wrong. It's hard to tell, not much of the frame can be seen in the photo. You could also have another trick we don't know about.

Yes, our team partner, Shaffers Welding does great things for us. No, the pictured piece is not completed yet. Yes, we do have a trick up our sleeve. No, clearance is not a problem. Notice the hole in the strip aluminum. That's where our axel is so that's the center of the 12" wheel. There's plenty of clearance.
