Rope, a shirt and socks......now I get it your robot doubles as a cloths line. 
It appears the arm is telescopic. How does it work? I can't really tell in the photo.

Clothes drying service, now thats a good fundraiser..
It is indeed telescopic, it raises with a window motor and a timing belt, I shall get some better pics up tommorrow...
