My second year making a tracked robot and I have to say I am impressed, but more impressed with the sophomores who drilled 620 holes and tapped 310 holes per tread (by hand) and we have made 4 treads. More pics are available if people want them.

Max LobovskyWOW, thats a $@#$@#$@#$@# lot of work. You're lucky you have such obedient sophomores on your team.. Im sure i would have had to spend half my time around them with a whip if i wanted that done...

kacz100Very close to 45's tread design... You actually think our team thought this up when a great team has already proved it? I just showed team 45's treads with some modification and they liked it.

Phil_Lutzsame chain we are using! cool.
3 people 6 hours to load up all the tread (conveyor belt) on 2 chains.
We are going to have a crew replacing/tighting treads between matchs

kacz100We have done some trials on our field and found out the hard way that threadlock works great to keep the treads on; but other than that we have 2 spare treads that are on our practice bot so if we need to remove and replace a whole tread it won't be a big deal.
