1382 Brazil - Gyro Tests

An image of our dedicated Electronics/Programming team on a wonderful holiday weekend ("Carnaval"), working to test the gyro we will be using this year for our autonomous mode.
We're using an innovative test method where the robot is placed on a chair with wheels (after the bench had been removed and replaced with a wooden board) to simulate movements without turning any motors on...all of this to simply test the gyro.

Note that we're testing the electronic system on a prototype design...

Not as innovative as our testing method.
We had someone from electronics sit there and rotate it for us.

"No, the other way. That way, darn it. Yes, that way."

Created a much livelier atmosphere that what your swivel chair (which is pretty cool too) seems to have created.

It's hard to see, but we have a small laser pen (it's in my hand, on the robot) that indicates which angle the robot is.

It's working very well.
