wow. looks nice and beefy and green. like how you guys have the frame inset for your compressor. guessing the battery might be that low too. wondering what those legs are for and what that center is gonna be supporting. like how you guys offset the center wheels outwards too. so this is another way to help a 6wd turn. hmm. just curious. whats that angle? does it have a specific reason? other than it looks sweet and maybe stronger and compact?

Thats just awesome, I love the green.. If it was all water jetted how big was the original piece that it came from?

This octagonal shape is credited to Warren Boudraux of team 180. The idea is to reduce the surface area that other bots can pin you with. If you have long flat sides, other bots can square off on you to hold you on a wall easier and redirect your heading also. This shape makes it much easier to rotate out of a pin hold and keep moving. Also each flat side has a bumper plate with noodle foam between it and the chassis to reduce the shock loads sent through the frame on collisions. Our electronics module is also floating on rubber to reduce shock loading. Then the cover completes the safety net over the electronics. It should be able to take a heck of a beating. Also limiting the amount of shock we would put into other bot's apon collision.

Those piston arms are for dropping the hanging tets in auto, also used to upright the bot if it fell on it's side. Also they collect human player tetras, so we can carry 4. But tonight we took the back 2 off, I don't think we'll need them. They work good for scoring human tets under/inside goals if we choose to do that any. They also increase the size of the bot during autonomous (making it easier to find the opponent) in order to disrupt vision tet caps.

That is most definitely not all one piece. You can see welds all over the place.

Looks great though, can't wait to see this thing in action (arm included)
