A metal shaving got in there and well... you can see that hole pretty well, as well as the scorch marks around it. This picture doesn't show that behind the burned H-bridge, the one behind it has a giant hole in it also, so the little inferno extended from both sides of the H-bridge. A lesson well learned.

Jonz0rYeah, we totally had like a pound of aluminum shavings in all our speed controllers, luckily none of ours broke, heh. Lesson for today: Dont drill without covering your speed conrollers

James114That happened to my team too. It was a nice light show, since it happened at night out side. We even did it with Aluminum shavings too.

greencactus3too bad that smells so bad lol. and i always wondered. what are the specs of the cap inside the victors? just to salvage it for parts.
