I figured I would just share this for teams to see.
This is how we mounted a sprocket to the Nippon-Denso window motor.
We only used a lathe and a mill with a digital read out to make it.
It is just set screwed to the motor into the gear on the motor.

A finding about the Nippon Denso Motors-
we used the ND motor as the axis of an articulated arm where the ND gear drives a larger gear in a simple gearbox. However we find that the housing of the axis of the motor is weak and tends to crack through the housing after a while.
We remedied the situation with a cleat and a little reinforcement of the shaft so it won't torque so much. Hopefully it will last well enough and after about a thousand trials over the past three days I think we are set.

Scott team 48nice job guys, any tips on getting the hole pattern right? we made a replacement for the plastic coupler out of aluminum and it took forever to get right. I would like to know if you have any tips for while we make extras during the "fix it" window. Thanks.

Well since I'm up past 2:45am on the Tuesday morning before ship putting it in the box; I might as well help you out.
First you need a 5/32 drill bit and then you can just follow this drill pattern once the sprocket is centered in the mill.
You will probably need a lathe to bore the hole to the size that the hole is in the plastic coupler.
I do not remember what size it is.
You will also need to chamfer the edges of the holes because of the way the gears are shaped on the motor.
