Amazing bot. I can't even imagine what havoc you will create with that machine. It seems that the green on the bot is different from that on the vision tetras, so i don't see that causing a problem. I'm glad that you are staying in green. I am eagerly awaiting more details, and video of matches. Congrats on a job well done, and good luck in competitions.

! ! !!! !!!! GO MOE!

Rick Tyler said recently that it was a waste of bandwidth to say things like "C00l dude i rilly rilly like it!!!1"

All I have to say however is:
That. Robot. Is. Awesome.

Looks like another successful green machine! One question though, are you guys planning on protecting your treads with any kind of cover plate?

That's a nice looking package, Moesters! But I have two questions:
Is that a Gatorade dispenser on the tower?
The center of gravity looks pretty low, so how are you going to tip it over?

Can't wait to play with you in Philly,

Pete

Dont worry, we still have the MOE cheer, the amazingly bright jerseys and the good times that are sure to come from this year.

I just wanted to say your swiveling arm loader mechanism is brilliant, if it does what I assume it does. That looks like the most effective hoarding robot I've seen yet. I would love to see some video.

In response to the questions about our exposed treads, we are working on a modification for our first regional.

MOEbius and proud parents, MOE 365, are looking forward to seeing you at at Pittsburgh, Philly, and Atlanta.

Robot specs will be posted on our website www.moe365.org either Sunday or Monday.

Enjoy the competitions everyone!

P.S. Pete, bring a cup to Philly and MOEbius will fill it up with Gatorade!

Good luck knocking those treads off, we did learn SOMETHING from Little MOE They won't be coming off *crosses fingers* they're specially designed so they wont......not that that means much. But yes, we have extras.........supposedly.........somewhere.

If you look very closely at the tread or the bogey wheels, you will see that the tread is internally guided by tabs on the tread and slots in the wheels. I think it could even survive Dean Kamen's driving unlike lil' MOE.

I am not positive, and because the rest of the team is at the Pitt. Regional this weekend, they can't confirm this, but...

We can stack 4 (count'em 1,2,3,4) tetras at a time, but the highest we can stack on the central goal is 8, with our <=4 tetras + the <= 4 tetras already on the goal.

As far as i know this is accurate.

As roughly concluded in another thread, speed in more important than height when cappingstacking, and MOEbius is fast, agile, precise, and reliable, so I feel MOE and our robot MOEbius will do well this season.

Not only do we have spares, but after the Pittsburg regional MOEbius is practically a tank. MOEbius now sports, in addition to the one runner in the pic, three more runners on each side (that’s six new ones and eight total,) metal guards above the treads, and a plastic shield covering the whole thing. Early in the practice rounds they were knocked off and after some modification we thought we were fine, only to be wrong and have the treads knocked off again. Last time I posted I made a cocky comment about the treads not coming off...yea, I was definitely wrong, but now I say with confidence that they are indeed much harder to de-tread then once they were.

Moebius was the most awesome robot at the Pittsburgh Regionals! No one could match their autonomous! They even kept stacking when in the end zone at the end of the match!!!

We were so excited to be chosen as their defense in the tournament. Beware the refs. I think Pittsburgh refs are not used to as tough a game as is played in other venues. We expect lots rougher play in Cleveland.

Good luck to Moe in Philly!!!!

We can load tetras on our back, Our arm can swivel 180 degrees at any time so we can grab tetras from our back, floor or anywhere we need to. also swing it around to protect our tetras while in the air.

And i also want to add that 808 was an awesome machine at Pittsburgh.
