I had been looking to donate my hair (to Locks for Love) for a while, but it wasn't long enough when I first thought of it, so I waiting awhile. Back in late January, I went to a meeting at Bradley Tech and said, "Team, if you make it to nationals, I'll cut my hair!" After lots of hard work, the team won the Rookie All-Star award in Chicago, earning us a trip to Atlanta. It didn't hit me at first, but about after about 15 minutes of talking and celebrating in the pits, I realized what exactly that award meant - a trip to the barber shop (amongst many other things of course!).
