Yet another LEGO Killough platform. The wheels are roughly based on Tytus's design. (http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/showthread.php?t=30101) I made this shortly after he showed his design, but never got around to modelling it till now.
If anyone wants instructions on building it, PM me. I'll be more motivated to stick steps into it.

For those wondering if it works, I made a short video.
Please be patient if the less than one MB file takes a minute to download. You're using my 30kbs upstream cable.
Enjoy.

this is real cool. especvially if you can get it working properly when i made wheels like that i found that they are too jumpy to have any sort of grasefull movement from them afterall it is a hexognal wheel rather than a round one. kudos to you if you build it.

That's just plain insane. Amazing. Out of this world. Just, wow. The question is though, could I get a FLL team to build it and get it running???

sanddragHow is it controlled? Is there just a random program in there telling it to drive the motors different directions for different amounts of time or is there some sort of remote of what?
Also, does the RCX offer speed control over motors?

Now that I have two RCX's, maybe I'll make a more intuitive control.

And people said it couldn't be done. Congrats on yet another "making the impossible, possible." Oh man won't I have fun trying to get the lego kids to build that.

And since this thread came up, I'll warn anyone trying to download the video that my server is currently down. It should be up by tomorrow.
P.S. Thanks, iCurtis.
--EDIT--
Server's fixed. (Actually, now it's running on my lappy.
) Tell me if there are any issues...
