Holy nice! That is a good looking omni-drive! How much does the base weigh? It looks really sturdy, but the 1/4" plate is heavy...

This chassis was used to illustrate holonomic drive and some other principles (wiring, design for maintainability, etc.) at St. Louis regional Fall training camp. Weight as driven is 69 lb. including battery. I agree that the drivetrain is overbuilt for competition.
