Here they are, on Day 4! These are our 2006 gearbox plates, and they are even home anodized. (the process will be later documented on our website) It's amazing what you can do without JVN slowing you down :-p

JVNJoe Johnson once said, the 229 gearbox looked like a man with googly-eyes. I think this one looks more like a guy with a moustache and big nose.

And then they were green, great job guys, Im just glad I didnt have to work in the high vent lab on these, I was much better working on other "projects" then playing with anodizing.

sanddragWell, it looks like it will definitely be three motors per box. My guess goes for 2 small CIMs and two Fisher prices with the AndyMark planetaries. Actually, the more I look at it, it seems as if the large CIM would fit in that large hole (and two mounting holes) in the middle. Hrrm, a 4 motor gearbox. /me wonders if it is for driving or for shooting.
I don't know what those slots and those lines of 4 small holes are for though.
