The Mad CADder

People often ask me how it is that Team 177 is able to complete its CAD drawings so quickly. Our secret is our CAD team leader, Matt, who we affectionately call, "The Mad CADder."

That is some slick photoshopping. Did you have the camera on a tripod, take multiple shots with different positions, and then selectively composite them?

What do you mean, photoshopping? Matt is an amazing individual .

Greg did the actual photoshopping, but that's about what he did, through my understanding.

Meanwhile, 177 has a robot to build and is instead taking pictures of people CADding.

It's actually about 4 photos put together. We took about 6, but not all were needed and some came out better than others. I did the compositing in full resolution, so sized down for CD it looks super good .

Here's a fun challenge for you: Find the area I forgot to erase... I'll give you a hint, it's not supposed to be a shadow.

I say infront of the first wrist because there are no other shadows in that direction.

Hmm, that wasn't what I was talking about, but I didn't pay any attention to shadows. That leftmost hand is actually taken completely from the original picture, so it's not it

I would say the random hand part, just sticking out at about mid picture. Its not actually touching anything but is shaped like it was holding a mouse or something of that nature.

Actually, every hand is touching something. Including that one, which is a mouse, but it's hidden by the other arm, assuming that's the hand you're talking about.
