Screws Loose 2006 Robot: Top Gun

It's the Screws Loose 2006 rolling chassis, Top Gun. The game system is done and will be mated with the chassis tomorrow (or, more to the point, later today). We are really happy with this platform. At 60 pounds as it sits in the pic, it effortless climbs the ramp, and goes, stops, and turns with alacrity. Woodie worked well last year, but it's nice to have a little traction.

Looks solid. Good choice on the 6 wheel drive.

Thanks for the kind words. We attended the Washington Practice Event and Robot Showcase today and learned a lot I'm posting in another thread. Top Gun's chassis was magnificent -- powerful, fast, and maneuverable. The game system mates to the chassis with two bolts and a pair of electrical connectors. It went on in no time. The bad news is that it didn't work (a couple of parts are still missing). No worries, though. We still have two days!
