Team 1501's Scorpion

We can shoot 11 balls in less than 4 seconds. We can be loaded by a human player. The camera will lock us on target every time. 30 degree ramp, no problem.

Weight 118 pounds
Can hold 11 balls in chute and about 10 more in hopper. However, getting the balls to come down the chute proves to be a problem as they tend to bunch up at the opening hoping to be the first shot out of our cannon
Traction very good.
Autonomous looks to be awesome.
Once camera locks onto the target light the computer takes over with the shooting. We can shoot on the fly moving towards the scoring target.

Wow! That's an awesome utilization of your space. Great job! Too bad I won't get to see it in action...

Nice robot, the only thing that I would worry about is the color of some of these other robots. If you get matched up with a green robot your camera may not come in handy!

Our camera has been trained to ignore all but the green target light We had a great programming team. Wait till you see it.

I'm confused We might have a problem with other teams picking up the reflection, of the light, off our robot but I don't think we will pick up other cameras.
If another robot picks up the reflection I don't think they will confused. The gold should change the color slightly and any programmer worth his/hers salt should be able to program the camera to ignore it

That is impressive. And very shiny...

Our camera gets confused by natural light sometimes... I hope that won't be a problem at regionals.

I wish I could see yours in action, though
Good luck!

Team will once again have the 'Guess the Rivet Count' at the Boilermaker Regional.
We will be giving away three LED badges.
Hint: There are NOT 1501 rivets.
