To me it looks like the bot loads balls from the human player, goes down the hoppes and then goes into the shooter.
Glad to see SigmaC@t pull it all together. Nice drivetrain. Good luck at the competition.

Sadly, the "ray gun" just couldn't pull through. Every part we ordered from the machine shop at Motorola came out wrong, or never came at all. Our lead machinist Lee tried with all his might (5 straight days of working till 5 am) to get fab all the parts that were wrong or missing, but we simply ran out of time. Luckily however, the testing we did on the new gun (started on Sunday) has all been good so we are confident in the new design.
The loading works by the white piece that connects the hopper to the gun. the balls roll down that and into the gun. Although it is in the picture, the clear (and thus invisible with crappy camera) lexan that wraps around the hopper is cut and extends all the way to the gun thus acting as a guide. The balls flow into that gun like water flows off Niagara Falls.
Good Luck to all the other teams!
See ya at UCF, SC, and the Championship!

Yeah, our turret spins 220 degrees (I think, last thing software told me).
Powered by a single Globe motor mounted under the turret. The only thing we had working before yesterday...
