Robonauts 2006

Here's a pic from 118:

4x chip powered crab drive
360° turret with 2x mini-bike powered auto aim shooter
Double stage off the floor ball sucker (10-15 ball capacity)

It's gonna be another fun season... see you at LSR and Nats.

wow look @ that tubing....16 must have had a big impact on you all in 2002

did you all buy the welding kit for that tubing or found some easier, cheap method to adhere?

They did! We were paired with the Baxter Bomb Squad in the elims at the Lone Star that year.

From my time with the Robonauts a piece of PVC deployed with surgical tubing aka a "Wheelie Bar" has seemed to become a robot staple. Since the Wheelie bar 2000's bot, "Hot Rod," it seems like every other robot has had one.
