No, we didn't attend any pre-ship events. The team was way too busy finalizing this robot. We were very close to the deadline this year.
I believe it weighed in at 119.7

See you at VCU

edit:
Brad, do you have any video of the mouth ?

Wow she looks like one angry shopping cart! Thanks to all the people on our team that made this robot happen without the work and dedication of everyone this machine wouldn't have even been built! Only two more days til VCU I can't wait!

Makes me think of a bin of balls (like Wal Mart blocks their aisles with) - gone crazy. Speedy bin of balls at that. Maybe after the season you could rent it to Wal Mart. Put a voice recording on it saying "Hey kid! Think fast!" and fire one off at 'em when they walk by.

So is VCU your only regional this year? I'd like to see this one in action.

Yes, unfortunately do to a few reasons, we will only be attending VCU this year, unless of course we win VCU and can get the funding needed to get there.

Otherwise, many of you will get a chance to see our robot at mini regionals all over the East Coast. We do usually attended over 6!

Your first chance to see it if we don't make it to the championships would be PARC!

Ever since about day 3, I've been a real fan of dumper bots. I think a bot that can dump well is a best friend in alliance pickings. I enjoyed the video a lot, and i hope the best for you as you launch your way to sucess, doing all there is to do. Are you any good at human loading, or do you not even need it with your awesome Polycord collector?

We barely had enough time to finish our robot this year, let alone human load. I do not really see the need for it too much after seeing the pictures from scrimmages and how many balls were on the floor!

By the way its Eagle Urethane Belting:

http://www.fennerdrives.com/eagle_ur...rced.asp#80_85

We have used this stuff since 2000. To pick up the rubber playground balls in 2000, to pick up the soccer balls in 2002 and this year to pick up the Poof balls.

Well most of the team is off to VCU tomorrow morning, while I will be staying back for class, work, and a test and will be heading down early Thursday for a fun 6+ hour ride.
