Are you powering all 4 wheels or just two? If two, how well does it turn? It would seem like it would have to overcome alot of scrub to move. And if it is 4wd, How well does it turn?

Holy crap, this is a big scary. We are using the same ball pickup method (polycord) the same basic launcher design (single wheel, but we're using a different skyway pneumatic wheel), treaded wheels (although ours are modified kits in a 6WD) as well as a 80/20 on kit frame box shape construction. However, ours is alot shorter ~3 feet and uses a polycarb hopper. Speaking of which, how will the judges see the balls at the start? Our design also has vertical electronics mount (can't tell if you do, but I don't think so) and a crummy turret (I can't tell if you have one). Despite those little differences, it still scares me how similar our bots are.

The turning is two wheel drive and a bit yucky but it works. We didn't use any turret and after taking this picture drilled a serries of holes down the length of ducting. We're a mix defence/single placement shooter. Despite being a huge robot we were able to run the entire thing off four motors. Since im the one dealing with electronics it made me very happy.
