James' baby

This is a team members high school senior thesis project (or, one iteration of a modular project). I've always been very proud of the work we did together on Dex and her sisters. Since we've both been off to college, our collection of R/C car gear has been scattered, and Dex hasn't driven in a long time.

One day she'll make it to Mars.

Yes. The transmissions and wheels are clodbuster vintage. The first iteration was on the original clodbuster, but the wheelbase was to short. The new motors caused some severe wheelie action, so the need to stretch it was a big deal. Thus the sheet metal.

And yes, the front right tire is on wrong. C'est la vie.
