So I was going through some old pictures of the team and everything and caught a glance of this. Its from '02.
You have to love John's design here. In all honesty it really did incorporate what a bunch of the high school students wanted to do.

That robot would be pretty good next year since it's going to be a water game. You could just float ABOVE the water and not have to deal with all that. Although, you're going to have some trouble with the submarine autonomous mode.

I especially like JV's creative mixing of German and US conventions for projection views, and his choice of drill motors to power the airship's drive units.
Not sure what KOP items might have been (legally) used as bombs... (?)
