How exactly was this picture made?

Did you draw it, or is it an altered photograph? Either way, it's a very unique-looking WAI. Nicely done.

I altered it in photoshop... I wish it was drawn, and I hope to get one drawn of us... but until I do, this is all I've got

And I'm sorry I look angry, I'm really not... Just tired.

P.S. I'm sorry for stealing you Black and white WAI thing, Eugenia ... It looks good so I wanted to try it out

yes, only after extensive doctoring of the image and tone adjustment... aswell as a chalk and charcoal filter. That's the only way I could get it to look good.

This looks like one of those dot-plotted pictures from Chuck-E-Cheese. Excellent!

Hey... wait... maybe it IS one of those pictures!

OK... Our family gets to Chuck-E-Cheese about 3 times a year, usually on the kids birthdays. There is this booth that takes your picture and prints out a charcoal-looking drawing when it is finished. The process of making the picture on a feedback screen is quite interesting, as dots are ramdomly put in, in a general area, like Chuck-E is drawing it himself. It's interesting, but simple things can amaze me.

Hey... Those krispy kreme machines are awesome! I once spent a good twenty minutes staring into the bowels of one of them, and If I could do it again, I'd spend forty!

Wait, was it Dave or Andy staring into the donut making machine? And why don't they have any stupid factories in Florida? I once went to the Jelly belly factory in Wisconsin.... it was so awesome! They have sooo much stock!

*remember, this is coming from someone that spent the better part of an afternoon playing with an omniwheel--not assembling, not disassembling, just playing.

I interviewed with H-P when I was in grad school, and part of the interview was a tour of their plotter factory in Rancho Bernardo. I think they thought I was mentally defective because I became obsessed with the machine they had built to fill the ink cartridges for the color plotter pens. It was the coolest thing, and they had built it themselves.

I just remembered a joy of youth. Forget the donut machine -- have any of you ever really watched a salt water taffy machine? It defies the laws of physics.

I play the Clarinet... actually, I play ALL Clarinets. I do the same
with saxophones I can play the bass guitar, and I am an
intermediate trap-set player.

My lady plays the Clarinet (Bb and alto) and Saxophone (Tenor and Bari)
as well, and she's getting very good at the piano

It's nice to meet more marching band people !
