Oh sweet! Nice idea. I'm working on one myself, but it's not going so well.

Is that water or the floor? Please say floor.

I really like that setup. Easy to tell who's in the lead, and has multiple targets to make strategy interesting. One thing to keep in mind, though I haven't seen a write-up yet... make sure you have an element of the game that a simple robot can do, there always has to be one thing that anybody could do that can influence the game (i.e. this year: 1pt goals, last year: 1pts for having a tetra under the goal, etc etc) I can't wait to see what you have in mind for the other things near the player stations. Very good use of keeping the "open space" scenario as well.

Wow... that's... interesting to say the least. I'd like to see a write up. Definitely. It looks like it might be a fun FVC game.

I like the idea of the scales to show score... but where do the color-changing target lights come in to this?

The Savage Soccer game that WPI put on had a similar concept with the scale. You may want to check that out.

Woah, sorry I completely missed there was a thread made for my picture. I explained the game I had in mind in this post here.

After thinking about this more, I thought a cool alternative might be to have a single scale in the center of the field that robots can get on, and have everyone try to weight it down with robots and balls, would be a tipping problem though.
