The field after qualifying
The field for Cal Games was a combination of NASA-loaned barrier and WRRF-owned carpets and field elements. The carpets had a bit of age, so they'd stretch when the barriers were hit, allowing them to bend a bit.
The consensus at the scoring table? Eh, anybody can drive along a field barrier when it's perfectly straight.
