2070's Field Model

Here is a model of the field made by some of the members of 2070 and me. The rack is made out of popsicle sticks, and the tubes are made from pipe cleaners. The best part of the model is that the tubes are magnetic, so a magnet on a stick + tubes + rack = fun times!

See, you guys understand the amazingness of popsicle sticks and hot glue. I wish 1902 did. Hahaha, very cool though... as a fan of popsicle (and lollipop stick) fields and design prototypes this definitely passes in my book as awesome.

Thanks! Another good thing about this model is that some of the students who weren't as interested, and even the people who are really into the competition, are able to visualize the whole competition, which is a great motivator. In addition to reading the manual, the field has proven to be a very good way to learn and review the rules of the game through mock matches.
