What kind of sensor is that out front? Is a regular light sensor or an IR proximity sensors?

Is it running NQC, RCX, legos, something else?

Have you seen this?

yes i saw the legway but my goal was to do the same sort of thing with the regular light sensor and with out NQC, legos, the hard thing is that rcx brick programming only let you use .001 increments were as i wanted .00001
plus i want a 11 year old to do it for the rmsc summer camps

I had tried doing something similar with RCX v1.5, but I could never get the light sensor to be accurate enough.

Looks great and if you can make it work good for you.

I tried it on anything I could. It has been a while since I tried it, but I didn't think I could get more than ~2 inch accuracy(in dark room. on a piece of wood with black contact paper covering it).

If I can get my RCX out of the closet I'll probably test the light sensor again.
